There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.
Passion and finding your life’s purpose seem to be intertwined!
There is no passion to be found playing small!
Discovering what kicks you out of bed at 5.00 am to start building your passion is exhilarating!
Having the time to be creative and not be locked into a mundane existence is priceless.
There is no passion to be found playing small. How true this is!
Once you strive to achieve and excel in your passionate area of work then drudgery no longer exists.
Have you been programmed to play it small?
I always looked around at my loud friends and called them show offs. They all wanted to be heard. It was a constant competition to see who could talk the most and the loudest. If you are like me then you would have sat back and watched them feeling that they were just trying to get everybody’s attention. Were they really trying to find their passion instead? As a school teacher within the public education system the students who were challenging and non conforming were labelled as unteachable. Yet they were the ones who were respected by their peers. They were the ring leaders. I would like to do a follow up study of these students to see how their life panned out. My hunch would be that they became strong leaders and entrepreneurs. They were the ones who lived by the statement there is no passion to be found playing small.Mind you I am not advocating being a rebel! However if you don’t learn to stand up for yourself and stand for something then is life really worth living? Sure you can just go along with things and make the best of your lot.
Would it not be more exciting to know how to shape how your life was meant to be?
Our programming can enslave us
The values, the traditions, the experiences, family and friends and our own response to these situations can enslave us.
What do I mean by this?
Well it seems that we can accept our lot in life without ever questioning it. Some people go through life as if they are in a comma.
Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.
Oprah nails it here! It is passion that makes life worth living. This is true in love, work and just existing
from day to day. If you are passionate about your life then that positive energy will excite you and create a magical life for you to build. Suddenly you are not just a player in the game of life. You are the captain of your heart and your ship.
Find your happiness and realise that there is no passion to be found playing it small.
When its all said and done then it seems to me that your purpose in life is to discover your passion and pursue it in a way that makes a difference. A difference to you, the people you come into contact with and the viral effect on the rest of the world. Take Oprah’s example and use your passion to genuinely serve others and change lives. When you serve others without an agenda you open yourself up to a world of opportunity. It’s like the universe knows that you are a good person and sets out to provide you with situations that can instil greatness within you. Suddenly things start to happen to make you realise what your life journey should be and the steps you need to take.
Travelling along the path of your life journey
Opportunities and people come your way to light up the path that you need to be on. When you are following your passion a level of excitement and energy naturally flairs up and aligns these people and opportunity on your path. The perception required to know and seize the opportunities is critical here.
You need to be ready to act quickly with faith and in the knowledge that you are going in the right direction.
